"The Sentinel" - Wedge-tailed Eagle
DESCRIPTIONI painted this a few years ago after I was fortunate enough to visit a rescued Wedge-tail named Jemima. She was found abandoned when young and lived a long life in captivity for 25 years. Being up close and personal with her was truly fascinating, and she inspired many of my eagle paintings in years to follow. Such a proud bird. A free spirit here in this painting.
